2-3 households are randomly selected each quarter
Winners are chosen through a random raffle from eligible submissions
Submissions may be self-nominations or third-party nominations, but please ensure the nominee knows they are being entered in the raffle
Selected households receive a one-time service (either a one-time yard cleanup or a one-time overgrowth cleanup)
Each household can only win once, permanently
This program is intended to provide short-term, one-time assistance, support our neighbors, and strengthen our local community
This program is NOT recurring maintainence, a substitute for specialty or contracted service, an open-ended or expandable work arrangement, and nomination does not guarantee selection
All selected households will work with us before the scheduled service date to agree on a clearly defined scope of work based on an in-person inspection or detailed pictures of the work area.
Service Limitations Include:
Maximum of up to 7 labor hours
Work areas and task limits agreed upon in advance
Disposal limited to a defined amount (bags or cubic footage, determined upon inspection)
Additional work outside the agreed scope is not included, but can be quoted seperately
These limitations ensure a fair, respectful experience for both parties.
Seasonal Note:
The Community Help Raffle services are conducted seasonally. If selected during Winter or inclement weather months, services may be scheduled for the next appropriate season or month based on safety, weather, ground conditions, and schedule availability. This is to keep the program fair and sustainable, winter winners do NOT get an alternative service, but may get scheduled for spring or summer.
Households must be located within our typical service area (Greeley/ Evans, Loveland, Windsor, Johnstown, and select surrounding areas)
Each household may only be selected once, permanently
Incomplete, false, or misleading submissions may be excluded
If site conditions pose a safety risk or exceed a reasonable scope, we may adjust or cancel the service. (ex. hazardous waste, severe neglect that can't be mitigated, unsafe structures, or is expected to exceed the defined service limits)
We do not ask for detailed personal circumstances -- only enough information to understand how this service could be helpful at this time.
Raffles are conducted once per quarter and winners will be contacted directly. If service is denied or the service cannot be completed, the raffle will be re-run and awarded to another household.
Participation is voluntary and free of obligation.
With permission, we may ocassionally share before/ after photos, general stories highlighting the impact of the program (No personal or identifying information is ever shared)
Our goal is to help -- not to exploit, pressure, or publicize anyone's situation
